Romanian Words

Casa Mare =

big, main house. Also refers to a specific room in a house that is used for greeting guests and housing traditional items

Casa Mica =

small house on the same property as the big main house

Compot =

home-made juice that is canned for the winter months

Hârtie Igienică = Toilet paper, comes in a variety of colors; pink is the most popular. Also, there is no inner tube thing, they're just one solid roll.

Rutiera =

public transportation bus AKA sauna of hell on wheels

Smantana =

Sour cream. Not to be confused with Montana
